There is no strict dress code for our wedding. We recommend you wear what makes you look and feel your best! Keep in mind that the ceremony will be outside and the route between the reception and ceremony is gravel. Please wear appropriate footwear!
Since our wedding is taking place in the mountains the weather can be pretty variable. It can range from highs of 10 degrees to 25. I'd recommend having some sort of jacket since it can get chilly later into the night.
The ceremony will be outdoors on grass, the reception will be indoors with access to a deck to enjoy the hopefully beautiful fall weather.
Guests should park in the parking lot of the clubhouse. When turning into Valley's Edge Resort you should see the clubhouse on the left.
After the ceremony guests will be encouraged to grab a drink, enjoy some lawn games and mingle while group and family pictures are taken. Then we will head over to the clubhouse for the reception.
Yes, everyone's kids are welcome! We will be setting up a kids table with some activities at the reception.
Rather than a traditional reception where a formal meal is served, we will be having a cocktail reception. Guest will partake in a variety of hors d'oeuvres throughout the night. There will be seating around the clubhouse but nobody will be assigned a seat at a table.
